Historic lease. One acre. In the Grants Creek area, 10 kilometres east north-east of the Alice Downs homestead. On the same line of lode as the Lady Kimberley mine.
A shaft had been sunk down to 60 feet in decomposed mica slate. The reef is one foot wide, pinching to the south. The quartz is not as Fe stained as some of the mines in the immediate area. There was another reef to the east, also with a shaft. Both were well defined, small, with rich surface alluvial patches.
