Former coal mine on the eastern edge of the coalfield, 15 kilometres south-east of Collie. Mined by Griffin Coal Mining Company from 1966 to 1967, producing about 30 000 tonnes of coal. No rehabilitation work was done when the mine was abandoned. The overburden dump is alongside the water filled pit to the east. Activity at the Premier (Muja) mine adjacent to the west may have effected the integrity of the site.
