Located about 25 kilometres south-west of Halls Creek, 5 kilometres south of the Great Northern Highway, and 2.5 kilometres north-east of the Mount Angelo Porphyry copper prospect.
Cu-Ag-Zn VMS deposit. Associated with the Angelo Microdiorite, a relatively small rock unit 5 kilometres long by one kilometre wide, at the contact between the Koongie Park and Olympio Formations.
It contains massive and stringer copper sulphides covering over 170 metres long by 15 to 35 metres wide. The mineralisation is a chalcocite rich supergene blanket (these usually match a present or historic water table), above a shallow plunging primary sulphide zone, capped by lead-zinc mineralisation.
The surface expression is an impressive iron rich gossan, being a dominant feature in an otherwise flat landscape.
