A small quarry located in the southwest corner of Section 24. This quarry produced local dolomite aggregate. The Pennsylvania Railroad hauled the aggregate to its final destination.

Quarry operations were terminated around 1975-1976 as the quarry began filling up with water (2013).

Today, the White Star Quarry remains a popular destination for scuba divers. Underwater artifacts include a motorcycle, several sunken boats and a truck formerly owned by the Frito Lay Company.
