Köppen climate type:
Located 10 kilometres south-west of Jerramungup. The quarry was developed for the green granitic stone it contained, by Melocco Stone for a short period in the early 2000's.
It is a megacrystic quartz syenite, with a greyish green colour, despite the presence of large pale pink K-feldspar phenocrysts set in the green matrix.
An example can be seen in the Australian War Memorial, Isurava, Kokoda Track, Papua New Guinea. This however does require a steep walk taking several days through rainforest, mud and leeches.
