Köppen climate type:
Stratabound mineralisation in black pyritic shale, above feldspathic quartzite, close to the axis of a north-west trending syncline. Mineralisation 1 to 2 metres wide and 800 metres strike, of disseminated pitchblende, torbernite, covellite and chalcopyrite in a mylontic shear zone, cross-cut by carbonate-pyrite veins. Discovered by Occidental Minerals 1978-1981. 26 kms north north-east of Kintyre.
