Köppen climate type:
55 kilometres north of Telfer. Discovered by Western Mining Corporation in 1984.
Fault bounded and stratabound epigenetic Zn-Pb mineralisation in crystalline dolomite, with interbedded siltstone, in the eastern limb of an anticline and north north-west trending fault zone.
Steep dipping mineralised zone in dolomite vein breccia in the fault area, with sphalerite at the veinlet margins, galena in the vein breccia, and steep dipping dolomite veins. Zinc is less than 4% and diminishes to the north-east, and away from the fault.
Details for this location are also taken from its entry (site code S0026231) in the Western Australian Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety's online database (MINEDEX) of mines, mineral deposits and prospects.
The Mindat co-ordinates are very approximate and denote the general area only.
