East south-east trending quartz veins, dipping moderately north, hosted by biotite monzogranite. Martin, et.al. indicates that this is a base metal deposit, but provides no further details.
The mine is approximately 5 kilometres north-west of the Star of Mangaroon Gold Mine. Follow directions given Mindat to this gold mine, and continue north north-west past the lead mine. The track turns west, crosses a small creek, with the mine shortly after, and a few hundred metres north of the track. At the time of writing a small pit had recently been dug at the site, with a shed just south.
