The prospect is 1.5 kilometres south of Jones Bore, in turn 8 kilometres east south-east of the Mooloo Downs homestead.
The baryte veins are hosted by gneissic adamellite. The veins extend a length of up to 30 metres, 0.6 to 1.2 metres wide. At vein intersections, masses of baryte have developed covering areas 5 to 7 metres in diameter. The veins narrow at depth. Coarsely crystalline baryte is off white to pale pink in colour. Some costeans are said to have been dug on the prospect.
The co-ordinates are approximate.
