Köppen climate type:
Located one kilometre south of the Red Hill Mine.
Hosted by a dolomite ridge, with a sub-vertical cupriferous limonite-quartz vein up to 40 metres thick, in a small north-east trending fault in bedded chert and dolomite, dipping 25 degrees south south-west. Malachite and chrysocolla occurs where a dolerite sill intrudes. In 1907, 8 tonnes of picked ore was mined, 1937 a further 4 tonnes grading at 50% Cu, however Marston states the figures are unofficial.
The Mindat co-ordinates are approximate.
