Located 4.5 kilometres south of Arrino, just west of the Arrino South Road. Several possible locations showing minor historic workings, in a discontinuous line north-south for 500 metres, in sparse scrub 'islands' surrounded by wheat fields.
Discovered in 1903.
Marston states the northern section was the most productive, containing in an area 150 x 100 metres numerous 1.5 metre deep pits, two old shafts, and a small open cut, when inspected in the mid 1970's. Consists of thin bedded sandstone, with "networks of anastomising millimetre-thick vuggy quartz-malachite-azurite veinlets, and copper carbonate coated joints and bedding planes".
The southern group contains an open cut 17 metres long, 6-8 metres wide, 6 metres deep, showing patchy malachite as joint coatings, irregular copper stained areas, quartz-limonite veinlets.
