Location of mine determined from map references at Tenure and Geoscience Information Department of Primary Industries.

Kim Macdonald suggest that location is approximate based on other maps, but surface evidence suggests possibly the position of the True Blue mine is where the Arizona mine is listed, the latter a few hundred metres further east being -19.6181223319; 134.24860463799996.

The mine is 7 kilometres east of Tennant Creek, and can be reached by heading east from the Tennant Creek repeater station. The Mindat map is approximate based on other maps, but surface evidence suggests possibly the position of the True Blue mine is where the Arizona mine is listed, the latter a few hundred metres further east.

Crushings were found in the late 1940's by Rebbick and Casey (surnames). Drilling and Development NL pegged the lease (20 acres) in 1953, stating in the past the mine had produced 135 tonnes of ore at 14 dwt Au per tonne, and trace copper. National Gold sampled the mine in 1987 with best result 5.3 g/t.

Adelaide Petroleum drilled in 1989 finding no significant gold lodes, but providing some geology information. The mine is found on an ironstone capped hill, elongated east-west in flat lying mulga scrub plains. The ridge contains semi continuous quartz-hematite outcrops, underlain by hematite fine grained sediments, dipping north. Quartz fills fractures, with minor quartz reefs. Gold is limited to a bed of brecciated Fe sandstone, where it is intersected by north-east to south-west fracturing. Specular hematite is noted.
