Timonchio stream (Torrente Timonchio) is formed in the municipal territory of Santorso by the confluence of two streams, Rio dell’Orco and Torrente Acquasaliente, which flows down from the Tretto mountainous area. After ca. 100 m, in the proximity of Másena, it is joined on its left bank by Rio Timonchiello; after ca. 1 km it enters the municipal territory of Schio and then crosses the eastern part of the town.

Minerals are found in erratics along the stream bed.

In particular, the specimen of ferrierite-Mg studied by Passaglia et al. (2010) was collected near Le Prese locality (Schio).
