Köppen climate type:
The Mount Larrie prospect is south-west of the Papunya indigenous community, and just south-east of the geographic Mount Larrie itself. Cu prospect.
The deposit is hosted by the metapelitic rocks of the Alkipi Metamorphics. Malachite stained garnet-feldspar-quartz rocks. The prospect contains a number of small mineralised bodies, no more than a few square metres each, along a 1.7 kilometre strike. Mineralisation is patchy. Grades up to 5.9% Cu have been found. On the surface is malachite, azurite, with minor chrysocolla, locally associated with magnetite and pyrite.
