Active quarry in Ordovician Prairie du Chien Group dolostone. Currently managed by Milestone Materials Company (2017). Local rock shops have good drusy quartz samples labeled as collected from this quarry, however a visit to the quarry by myself in 2018 (William S. Cordua) revealed little of collector interest, only minor drusy quartz and travertine coatings. The travertine did fluoresce and phosphoresce blue under SW ultraviolet light.
