Zeolites are found in several small quarries along logging roads on Clinton Knob north of Ryderwood east of Wildwood in Lewis County, Washington. The rock belongs to the Eocene Crescent Formation and consists of dikes, sills, and pillow basalt. At the time the specimens were collected the land belonged to International Paper and the roads were open on weekends during deer hunting season. The land has been sold to Weyerhaeuser is now gated and collecting is not allowed.
