The Green Hoard Mine is approximately 10 kilometres north-west of the Bonya Mine, at the north-western edge of the Bonya Hills. Bonzle labels it as 'Green Hoarde', while the references under this article spell it 'Green Hoard'.
The site contains a large historic trench 80 metres long, by 4 metres wide, to 2 metres deep, the walls stained with malachite and chryscolla. Also in the vicinity is several stockpiles of copper oxide and sulphides, a derelict small shed, and rusting drums. Surface secondary copper shows at the surface across a length of 200 metres.
The lease was owned by C.A. Wright and J.W. Sharp 01 June 1949 to 22 December 1949, then solely C.A. Wright until 03 February 1950. It was then taken over by K.G. Johannsen until 10 July 1970.
Rox Resources sank 3 drill holes below the trench in 2015, none of which intersected any significant copper mineralisation.
No geology information has yet been found relating to the site.
