The Yarraman Cu deposit is located on the far north-western edge of the Bonya Hills, about one kilometre north of the Green Hoard Mine. The site contains a small pit.
Amphibolite is cross-cut by K-feldspar-tourmaline-quartz pegmatites. Cu mineralisation is in the quartz-garnet lode in skarn. Amphibolite is overlain with a quartz-magnetite horizon, overlain by meta-quartzite, meta-volcanics and pelitic schist, overlain by calc-silicate rock, quartz-magnetite, and quartz-garnet-epidote rock with Ca rich domains forming irregular patches, and garnet quartzite.
Alternatively Zapopan provides a diagram of mineralisation from basal to surface being biotite-andalusite schist, epidote calc-silicate, quartz-magnetite, biotite gneiss, quartzite, epidote calc-silicate again, meta-quartzite, gossanous hematite and amphibolite, near surface quartz-tourmaline pegmatites cutting epidote amphibolite, granite, and biotite schist. Little mention is made in the two sources regarding the copper mineralisation.
