A former mine that operated pre 1900. Pb-Zn-Cu (Ag, Au)

W. Morris 1897, M. Levy 1897, Le Nickel (Aust) Pty Ltd 1973-1978, Newmont Holdings Pty Ltd 1984-1986

Prospecting shaft. Numerous discontinuous gossan pods and quartz veins 0.1-1.0 metres wide, trending north, dips east, containing sulphide, disseminated and minor massive lenses. Area covers 500 x 125 metres. Two forms of mineralisation quartz-chalcopyrite-pyrite veins, and massive strataform galena-sphalerite-chalcopyrite-pyrite. Chalcopyrite contains gold.
