An old silver mine, started in 1536 and worked until 1593. It was at work again between 1695 and 1713, but only to raise tin ore. In 1778, it was restarted as a silver and cobalt mine and reworked intermittently until 1870. Both in the 16th century and during its last working period, it was one of the most important mines in the district. From 1947 until 1957, the deposit was reworked for uranium.
The mine worked on the following veins:
- Dorotheer Flacher
- Dorotheer Morgengang
- Elisabeth Spat
- Felix Schwebender
- Felix Spat
- Himmlisch Heer Flacher
- Himmlisch Heer Stehender
- HĂźlfe Gottes Flacher
- Leipzig Hoffnung Stehender
- Widersinniger Spat
