Small disused quarry, next to the main highway 15 kilometres south-east of Dargaville. It consists of a volcanic plug for hornblende andesite rock, with minerals found at the contact with surrounding limestone.

Levyne is associated with most other species, and is found as on edge tabular crystals. Siderite is found with most other species as botryoidal masses and bow-ties. Chlorite found with the other species as tree-like growths and vug linings.
