Bart (1931) mentions that there has been a feldspar quarry at the Island Imsøy, without specifying which of the two islands, Vestre Imsa and Østre Imsa, respectively.

Barth mentions that there is a farm by the name Imså on the island.
In the middle of the western island, Vestre Imsa, there is a group of houses, maybe the farm Barth means.

But the only positively identifiable quarry is located on the eastern island.

At the same island there is another suspicious feature at:

58.03896,7.18028

At the western island there is a point of interest at:

58.03106,7.17908

Considering the time that has passed since there was activity, this issue might proof to be unsolvable...

The NGU has registered a feldspar deposit at: 58.0299260,7.1782930, see Imsa Feldspar Quarry
