An U-V occurrence/mine located near the New Mexico state line. One of the mines in the East Reservation lease of the Vanadium Company of America (VCA). The majority of the mines in this lease are located in New Mexico. This mine is not listed in the USGS MRDS database.
Mineralization is an U-V deposit with ore hosted in the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation, 30 to 60 feet above its base.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 2 adits totaling 25 feet, plus a 50 x 150 foot rim strip area; 10 barren holes on 50-100 foot centers were drilled in 1952 by the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC).
Any production in 1948-1950 was included in the East Reservation lease of the Vanadium Corporation of America.
