An U occurrence/mine located in sec. 23, T39N, R7E, G&SRM, 5.9 km (3.7 miles) SSE of Marble Canyon (town), adjacent to the June claims. This locality is not listed in the USGS MRDS database. The geographic coordinates presented for this locality are approximate to the center of sec. 23.

Mineralization is an U deposit hosted in the basal sandstone of the Petrified Forest Member of the Chinle Formation. Ore contains unspecified secondary minerals.

Workings include surface openings comprised of an 8OO foot rim stripping with 100 X 20 X 10 foot deep cut.

Production was 40 tons of ore @ 0.37% U3O8 (1956).
