Blind deposit
The skarn-type copper–gold mineralization is developed in the western portion of the mining district. The concealed Cu (Au) ore bodies are spatially related to the skarns, which are distributed at the contact zone between the monzogranite, diorite and the limestone of Bayanbulak group. These skarn ore bodies display lenticular and sack-like morphologies. The skarn Cu (Au) mineralization includes prograde garnet and diopside, retrograde tremolite, epidote, and chlorite, disseminated pyrite and chalcopyrite, and minor gold.
