A Au-Pb-Fe-F-Cu-Mo mining area located in T2S, R11W, in the Gila Bend Mountains.
Mineralization is varied: (1) Spotty gold with minor copper in weathered zones in quartz lenses or silicified zones with strong iron oxides, in Precambrian schist intruded by granitic masses and andesitic to granitic dikes, or in granitic masses; (2) Irregular bunches of galena, partly oxidized to anglesite and cerussite, with fluorite and quartz, and minor wulfenite and lead oxide, in fractures ina fault zone cutting Precambrian schist with chert bands.
Workings are shallow shafts with drifts and open cuts. Prospects found in the early 1900's and worked sparingly in later years. No recorded production.
