Köppen climate type:
The plutons of Uppalapadu, Errakonda Pluton, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India, and Chimakurti Pluton, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India are in contact and can be considered as a single complex. but only Uppalapadu is alkaline, consisting predominantly of nepheline syenite.
Uppalapadu and Errakonda Pluton, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, India are combined under the name Uppalapadu in some earlier papers.
The country rocks are are Precambrian granite gneiss, amphibolite, biotite schist and metapelite, the last 2 of which form substantial masses lying between the separate plutons.

Geochronology
Mineralization age: Neochaotian to Cambrian : ~4600 Ma to 541 ± 1.0 MaImportant note: This table is based only on rock and mineral ages recorded on mindat.org for this locality and is not necessarily a complete representation of the geochronology, but does give an indication of possible mineralization events relevant to this locality. As more age information is added this table may expand in the future. A break in the table simply indicates a lack of data entered here, not necessarily a break in the geologic sequence. Grey background entries are from different, related, localities.
