9 x 2.5 km syenite intrusion, which tapers from N-S where it passes into en echelon fine-grained lenses.
Up to 36 ppb of Au occurs in albitized zones in the adjacent granites and at the contacts with country rock dolerites. U has also been reported. Au values of 225 ppb have been found in syenites. Magnetite- and ilmenite-bearing pegmatites contain 0.1% W. The syenite is used as a dimension stone.

Geochronology
Mineralization age: Mesoproterozoic : 1500 ± 100 MaImportant note: This table is based only on rock and mineral ages recorded on mindat.org for this locality and is not necessarily a complete representation of the geochronology, but does give an indication of possible mineralization events relevant to this locality. As more age information is added this table may expand in the future. A break in the table simply indicates a lack of data entered here, not necessarily a break in the geologic sequence. Grey background entries are from different, related, localities.
