Patroklos (Πάτροκλος) is an island in the Saronic Gulf, about 850 meters off the southeast coast of Attica. It is located about 3 kilometers west of Cape Sounion and covers about 2.8 square kilometers.
Together with the municipality of Keratea, the island was added to the new municipality of Lavreotiki in 2011.
In ancient times, the island was called Patroklou charax (Πατρόκλου χάραξ, Camp of Patroklos) and was named after an Admiral Patroklos of the Egyptian pharaoh Ptolemy II, who built a fortification on the island when he aided the Athenians in the Chremonideic War against the Macedonian supremacy in Greece. Another name from antiquity is Kopros (Κόπρος).
