Köppen climate type:
Old saltworks, nowadays abandoned, located in the Río Salado basin. They consist of a small wooden waterwheel, two warehouses and several evaporation ponds or "eras". These saltworks came into operation approximately in 1910 and are small in size, compared to those of La Olmeda or Imón. They were in operation until 1960. They are the most modern in the area. The crisis in the sector and the preponderance of the La Olmeda and Imón saltworks precipitated its closure.
Antiguas salinas, abandonadas en la actualidad, situadas en la cuenca del Río Salado. Constan de una pequeña noria, dos almacenes y varias albercas o eras. Estas salinas entraron en funcionamiento a partir de 1910 aproximadamente y son de pequeñas dimensiones, en comparación con las de La Olmeda o Imón. Estuvieron en funcionamiento hasta 1960. Se trata de las más modernas de la comarca. La crisis del sector y la preponderancia de las salinas de La Olmeda y de Imón precipitaron su cierre.
