Structure: Wichita Mountains Cold Springs Intrusive In Glen Mountains Layered Complex

Tectonics: Aulacogen

Deposit: 30 inch cuprite vein in talc that was 40-50 ft wide. Said to extend several miles w. And also to extend e. To reserve. In 1936, mr. Parsons intended to reopen this prospect. Ryan (august 1936) has detailed location and comments.

Development: Shaft dug to 35 ft deep

Geology: Chase (1950a,b), walper (1949, 1951), and vidrine and fernandez (1986a,b, map, p. 150) discuss geology of area. Chase (1950b) mapped tepee creek zeolite in much of sec. 19. Walper (1949) mapped cold springs rock in the SE quarter of sec. 19. No one has mapped bedrock at the shaft site.
