Neemrana is an ancient historical town in Alwar district of Rajasthan, and is about 120 km SW of Delhi. The town is at the southern tip of a narrow anticline NNE-SSW oriented pertaining to the Aravalli Range.
The quarry is on the south-eastern flank of the anticline, and is accessible from the NH48 (Delhi-Jaipur expressway) from Gurgaon.
