Austre Mørketjønn is the name of a small pond. South-west of this pond are two quarries. The coordinates are for the lake.
The geological map of the NGU indicates the presence of a quarry at the NW tip of this lake, but nor the LIDAR map, nor aerial pictures at kart.1881.no show any recognizable signs of such a quarry.
