Phu My Quarry is adjacent to Nui Thi Vai Quarry and is located about 4.5Km east of Phu My town on the northern flank of Nui Thi Vai mountain.
Volcanics of the Early Cretaceous Nha Trang Formation (mostly Rhyolites and Trachirhyolites) are quarried as inert for construction.
The Nha Trang Fm at this location is dipping to the NW and is intruded by vertical dykes of granite.
Hornblende can be found.
