Chiperone and Derre are the highest peaks in a group of mountains and hills of nepheline syenite and syenite. Smaller hills are: Pandibue, Muembili, Conguene (Congene), Missouge, Missecue, Langoma and Mongoe. The complex consists of several curving inrusions, which extend over about 30 km in a NW-SE direction, intruded into Precambrian migmatites, gneisses and granulites.

An investigation of the economic potential of the nepheline syenites of Conguene (Cilek 1989) indicated that they are suitable for the production of alumina, sodium and potassium compounds and portland cement.
