The Lakeside pegmatite has been subdivided into three locations. This is based on the spatial separation of the recorded locations of the mineral specimens preserved in the Simpson Collection of the Western Australian Museum and the unknown continuity between these locations. This location is proposed to be called Lakeside pegmatite No.2 and is the recorded location for Western Australian Museum specimens MDC3733 and MDC3734.
Minerals from Lakeside pegmatite No.2 include lepidolite, quartz, and topaz.
3.2kg of blue topaz and 90.7kg of coloured beryl was sold from the station, sometime before 1973, but no more is known. Unsure which of the three known pegmatite locations the production is from, or whether it represents a combined total.
