Quarry located in the Tygerberg Hills 6 km west of Durbanville. Quarry is about 140 m deep and exploits hornfelsic, quartzitic, argillaceous sandstone (meta-graywacke) of the Malmesbury Group for concrete aggregate and road construction materials.
