Uranium minerals replacing lignitized or opalized wood.
Deposit: Shear zone background radioactivity-120 cps; high-1200 to 1500 cps. ; info.src : 1 pub lit

Deposit type: Volcanogenic U

Development: 100-ton trial shipment in 1958

Geology: Anomalous radioactivity occurs along a shear zone separating tertiary volcanics rocks from cretaceous quartz monzonite. The radioactivity was discernable for more than 200 feet along a 15-foot wide zone.
