A very bright fireball was seen by hundreds of people from Austria, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic on the early morning of November 19th, 2020 at 4:46 a.m. for about 24 seconds. In early July 2021 a 233 g meteorite fragment eventually was found in the municipality of Kindberg, Styria. A study of the small piece cut off from the fragment showed that the meteorite is an ordinary chondrite.
The meteoroid is estimated to have had a weight of about 270 kg.
The strewnfield was calculated to be about 50 km long and 3 km wide.
