Grube Nöggenschwiel
Experimental mine near the village of Nöggenschwiel. Company: Fluß-und Schwerspatwerke Pforzheim, Germany.
Prospecting started in 1963 until 1964, responsible person was the hewer Gerhard Gulich, brother of the Gottesehre miners foreman Hans Gulich.
In 1968 active mining starts again, but the fluorite resources get lower and lower, the underground mining finished in 1972. The length of the gallery was 150 metres. Today the entry (with an iron gate) is still visible near the barrier lake.
Minerals from this location are rare, only some pockets with fluorite and baryte were found in the 1970s.
