Mineralized clefts on the slopes south of the Niedere Scharte, frequently uncovered due to recession of the glacier. In a nearby adit, brecciated mylonitic gneisses are exposed, in which a suite of lead minerals were found. More samples of this mineralization were recovered from material deposited on the northern (Salzburgian) side of the Niedere Scharte.
