Old abandoned Lower Permian (Rotliegend) porphyry (quartz rhyolite) quarry, in the northern part of the village, just before the last buildings on the eastern side of the road to Jawor, on the slope of the hill.

The upper part of the stratigraphic profile of the Kaczawskie Mountains - deposition began in late Carboniferous, and sediments of a similar nature arose to the end of the Permian Rotliegend, with a significant share of volcanites, formed in a terrestrial environment.
Three lithostratigraphic units were distinguished:
- formation from Świerzawa,
- formation from Wielisławka
- formation from Bolesławiec.
here represented of Wiełisławka Formation.
