Fe-Cu skarn deposit, with an estimated reserve of 399 Mt iron ores @ 34%–55% Fe and 3104 t of Cu @ 0.25%–0.9% Cu.
The skarn-type orebodies of the Kuokuqueke deposit occur in the contact zone between intrusions and carbonate rocks. The mineralization zone in the middle of the Kuokuqueke ore district is approximately 2 km long, with 33 orebodies in total, of which 9 orebodies are exposed on the surface. The No. 1 and No. 3 orebodies occur in the marble contact zone with the central dikes and the northern intrusion. The No. 2, No. 4 and No. 7 orebodies occur in the interlayered fracture zone and its external contact zone. The No. 6 orebody occurs in the internal contact zone. The ore bodies are generally small in size, with strike lengths of 30–280 m, extension depths of 30–400 m and thicknesses of 0.14–27.39 m.
