While trying to locate the Åpasdal Iron Prospect, an interesting exposure of an extensive breccia zone was found.
Due to the improvement of an old forest road in connection with the building of yet another holiday home in the middle of pristine nature, the exposure can be followed over a considerable distance and through several types of rock.
Further study should be done to describe this zone into greater detail. From a relatively quick inspection, it seems as if the breccia zone is up to 0.9 km wide, seemingly starting at the here presented Mindat coordinates, and seemingly ending just before the location of the new cabin at 58.49613830,7.63623834.
The finest breccia can be seen at the starting coordinates, with the rock being basically just "crushed up" more to the east, with minor signs of hydrothermal activity in the fractures.
(Due to the light being of poor quality that day, my pictures are of poor quality, not showing the contrast in the rocks well enough. A new trip is required for making better pictures.)
