Köppen climate type:
This body occurs 1.7 km NE of Siddanpalli village and is mostly covered by soil. Sridhar et al. (2004) notes that this kimberlite is a twin body with the main body measuring 100×50 m and a satellite body measuring 10×10 m. Where exposed, SK-2 is weathered compared to SK-1 and is most competent in stream cuttings, where a number of limestone xenoliths were recovered. These xenoliths are hard, competent and up to 12×10 cm. They display bands and laminae of chert. Their contact with the kimberlite is sharp without any gradation or reaction.
