Köppen climate type:
Oban Massif of the southeastern Basement Complex of Nigeria and forms part of the Pan-African mobile belt. It is Precambrian and extends from the African continent to the orogenic belts known around the northeast of South America. It forms part of the Nigerian Basement Complex and is composed dominantly of the gneiss-migmatite rock suites, which were later intruded by the Older Granite (Pan-African) and Younger Granite (Jurassic) rock series, as well as mafic, ultramafic, and intermediate rocks.
