Harchies is a village in the Belgian province of Hainaut, and a sub-municipality of the Walloon municipality of Bernissart. The name Harchies means villa of Harico (Hariciacum in Roman). Harchies is known for the Harchies Marshes.

Harchies was an independent municipality, until it was added to the municipality of Bernissart during the municipal reorganization of 1965.

Coal was mined in Harchies from 1899 to 1965. An earlier attempt in 1804 by Count de Mérode was halted in 1808 due to mine water problems.
