‡Ref.: Stone, R.W. (1920), Gypsum deposits of the US, USGS Bull. 697: 53.

A gypsum claim located in sec. 3, T.13S., R.14E., about ¾ of a mile South of Alamo Spring and 8 miles (ca. 13 km) North of Tucson on the West side of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Owned by E.L. & Ralph Wetmore (1920).

Mineralization is a bed of gypsum 6 feet (1.83 m) thick.

Workings include 2 prospect pits, each 8 to 10 feet (ca. 3 m) deep and a third pit at 5 feet (1.52 m) deep (1920).
