Graphite was mined in the period 1890-1947 in the area around the hamlets of Timonsella and Minusani (Menusan) at the border with the municipal territory of Pramollo. The workings exploited graphite layers striking approximately E-W on the southern slope of Bric dei Pini (also known as Poggio Pini) between 740 and 800 m a.s.l. Remnants of adits are still visible in the area.
