A former surface and underground barite-Ag mine located in secs. 4 & 5, T.2N., R.7E. (Granite Reef Dam 7.5 minute quadrangle).
Mineralization is veins 5 to 20 feet wide along a fault zone. Rocks are granite of Precambrian age and Conglomerate, basalt, dacite, and rhyolite of Tertiary age.
